Crafts and paiting competition at 22nd Hanse Sail Rostock
Many interesting maritime festivals will change our urban landscape in the coming year and we want to contribute to that. Next to historic and modern buildings in Rostock and its surrounding, this time the Hanseatic City of Rostock and its ships shall be in focus.
The project group of children and youth of the Hanse Sail Vereins e.V. invites also this year all Children and Youth Organisations as well as individuals of the Hanseatic City of Rostock and its surrounding area to the great contest of ideas. The motto is: "Which ships can be seen from the city harbor Rostock up to Warnemünde?"
Also in 2012, there are no limits for your phantasy or size. Create our maritime Rostock with different materials. Collage, photomontage, modells, interesting documentaries especially about "local" vessels as well as paintings shall show the many big and small ship types on our river Warnow.
When submitting please note the "Site/place of the ship" and also your name, institution and address on the back. We can be reached from 4 July 2012 in the Hanse Sail e.V. building, Warnowufer 65, from 3:00 p.m. Please call for further requests or before submitting your work (Tel. +49 (0171) 41 84 137).
For experienced craftsmen, two ships can be created, the fishing boat "Cod" or the schooner "Greif". The originals are available in the office of the Hanse Sail Verein e.V. (Please call in advance: Tel. +49 (0381) 208 52 80).
Closing date for submitting your work is the 31 August 2012.
